Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American model, TV host and actress - is an American comedian. Panganiban is often referred to as the "new Queen of Drama" by numerous media sources. As the youngest runner-up in history, Hale placed second in the contest. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in 2012. She was 4 at that time. The reason for her sickness was an aggressive strain of strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston put Angelica Hale on ECMO care for life-saving treatment. She developed multiple organ failures as well as kidney failure, which didn't fully recover. Hemodialysis and later peritoneal dialysis became her new normal. For the eighteen days she was in the medical center, her world changed for the better. Angelica underwent dialysis treatment for over a decade half before she could undergo the kidney transplant. It was her own mother who would donate the kidney. Angelica Hale, along with her mother had a kidney transplantation on the premises of Emory University Hospital in Atlanta as well as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13th, 2013.
